Does the converter mean you pushed all in or you called an all in by the villain?

[ QUOTE ]
Does anyone find it ironic that kagame's opponent has the worst possible hand here? Also, that paint drawing is pure genius.

[/ QUOTE ]
of course villain has the nut low; also notice he was drawing to a one-card deuce-flush, as well as a wheel, but ended up just shy with A2346. that's because this hand is fiction.

by the way, i can't take credit for the idea of the drawing. i saw it in oot last week, i just replaced [censored]'s pinhead face with an oval and azk in it. anyway, now that i've absolved myself of plagiarism, azk needs to show up and lock this thread, esp. when the bat-signal has called.

this hand is not fiction, the converter just is wonky, he pushed the river i called

nearly 100% of my raises were being called in one or two places so in that case i dont raise with this sort of hand

in spots where i have absolutely zero fear of being outdrawn why not try to appear weak or allow my opponent to catch something?

yes traditional wisdom says the pot isnt as large early on, and this lowers my chance of winning a big pot, but i dont need to be able to protect my hand so is this much of a problem considering the nature of nl?

[/ QUOTE ] Why not? You probably have position and you have an ok hand. Playing a bigger pot sounds like something you'd like, no?

Was there any table chat after this hand? I would guess that he got so embarrased that he left immediately........

I raise preflop every time and bet the flop because I make a continuation bet close to 95% of the time. If he wants to make a move, that's cool with me; otherwise, I'm not going to totally change my playing style just because I hit the unbreakable nuts. There are no hands that can "catch up" here without having something on the flop (two pair, set, straight, some sort of weird draw), so ragdolling it really does nothing at all. The only hand that may not call the flop and would have something on any turn would be a lone club, and I'd think he would get really suspicious if you wake up after the fourth flush card hits--especially since the best he can hold here is the 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

I think you see a small flush here alot more then 23o in which point I'll get my money in on the turn...
