Default Live 4/8 hand

MGM on Friday

Villain has a clue.

Hero is BB with black kings

3 Limpers, SB completes, Hero raises, all call. 4 to the flop for 9 small bets (damn rake).

A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB checks, Hero checks, Villain bets, folds to Hero who calls.

J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero checks, villain bets, hero calls.

8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero bets.

Good, bad, or meh?

Why the heck'd ya bet the river? You think he has a J or 7?? I hope you plan on folding if he raises.

I felt leading the flop was the worst option available at the time. Live games play funny.

Fold the flop then.

Edit: BTW, what the heck is your avatar all about? It really distracts from reading the post.

Why? There are 3 people with position on you. There are no draws on the board. You raised pre-flop. You're supposed to like an Ace on the board. Bet out and see where you are.

I could understand checking the flop if there were 5 behind you, but 3? Quite frankly, I bet this hand until someone raises me.

This hand qualifies for WAWB, I would rethink your line.
