Default Abdul and Limping Preflop

Reading the link that Guy McSucker put up in the thread on Mixed Strategies got me thinking a lot about preflop strategy. I used to limp preflop a fair bit a year ago when I started playing 10/20 SH, but I ditched that to the point where it's only openraises. But Abdul discusses a mixed strategy for playing UTG whereby you ONLY openlimp there, and based on what happens after you you either limp-reraise, limp-call or limp-fold with a certain mix of hands.

The article was written a while back so surely many have read it. Does anyone have any experience with such a strategy, good or bad results? I'm tempted to play around with it a bit for a while. I remember Shawn Keller (Thunder's brother) talking about limp-reraising with AA, KK and like 89s from early position in typical high-limit, intelligent games because it really disguises the strength of your hand, giving excessive fold equity to your 89s and getting a lot more calls when you're packing bullets...
