Default excel question

I posted this in Computer forum but got no responses - I'm not very patient so I posted it here as well.

When I'm moving around in an excel spreadsheet I used to use the arrow keys and it would move me from cell to cell. Now when I use the arrow keys it just changes my view of the spreadsheet but keeps me in the same cell.

What did I do and how do I go back to being able to move from cell to cell using the arrow keys?

Thanks.

Joe

or alternately, hit the esc key. You're in cell edit mode or something.

Or you need to turn on num lock. One of the two.
