Things were looking pretty up when I completed my first 500 tournaments. Here's the link First 500 22s

My how things have changed in the most recent 146 STTs at the 22s...Now I see why 500 STTs is not a very significant number by any means. Here's my new graph:



After a 32 buy in drop, I'm now at the same amount of money I was at 400 tournaments ago...and it's really quite depressing. I dropped from a 15% ROI to an 8% ROI and a 38% ITM to a 36% ITM. Almost all of my profits are from that one 50 game stretch in the 200-250 tournament range on my graph. I'm starting to doubt my skills and I'm wondering if I'm just a break even player who got lucky once. I really want to make it to 1000 tournaments and see what things look like at that point. Until then, I'll keep reassessing my game and try to find the leaks. Atleast I have rakeback...

My 22 trend is very similar, although instead of a 32 buy-in drop, I'm on a 100 tournament break-even streak after a similar heater. Anyway, don't doubt yourself man. Analyze it all after 1000 SnGs and see where you're at.

Can you explain to the HTML Moron (read: me) how to post pictures in these threads? I'd ike to do a similar post whren I hit 1000 SnGs at the 22s.

I had a similar trend last month, massive heater, gave a bunch of it back, and then breakeven for about 300 SNGs.

The moment the calendar turned to August, I finally broke out of my funk and am up 25 buyins in the last 50-60. Moral: streaks happen, streaks end. Just Keep Playing. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

That 30 tourney heater is the most amazing I have ever seen. You must have been like 80% ITM with over half firsts.

After 500 and a profit of around $1800 I would have been at the 33's. You would have 54 buy-ins.

Or you could see the graph from a positive - generally on an upswing overall, with 1 big downswing.
