Pot ends up at 16BB I think.

Anyways, the preflop call ok? The table VPIP is around 65 or so, and once the flop draw comes out I realize it's time to protect my hand. Plus, my 3-bet on the flop will let me have a cheap showdown in case I meet more aggression.

After the flop it's smooth sailing though.

Nothing wrong with mixing up your play once in a while. Because you left your sn in your post, I couldnt help but look you up in my PT DB. I see that the only time that I have seen you show down AA, you were very aggressive (3bet preflop, bet each street). I play exclusively 1-2 6m and I think that in that game, pumping with AA preflop is always a good idea just because of the giant equity edge and the fact that people will call 2 cold with just about anything. If you do pass up the pf gassing, it is very necessary for you to come to life on the flop to try to slim the field, which you did. Bottom line at 1-2 though is usually to not get too fancy, which I'm sure you already know.
NH though.

I highly doubt even fishy players at 1/2 6max will call 3 cold preflop with almost anything.

I omitted that part from my post. Feel free to give the rest of the content some thought.
