The story will air tonight (May 23rd) at 11pm on CBS, Channel 2 Los Angeles. There will be game footage from a local game and an interview with one of the players that was cited.

There should also be comments from LAPD on their policies regarding enforcing the municipal codes barring gambling in your own home.

Interesting story. It confirmed the suspicion that the game was busted because it was more than your usual home game. The "host" was advertising the game, not playing, and raking the pot. Basically, he was Christopher Moltisanti.

Still, the police suck beyond belief for wasting time on this.

The story said that the city code already allows home poker games as long as the only people making the money are the players. I couldn't find this exception in the code. Maybe someone else will have better luck...
