I got up to 120 with crappy dice chips. Unfortunately now my roomates feel challenged by my stacking ability. Ill be sitting in my room, perusing 2+2, minding my own business then I hear a Deafening crash followed by a string of explatives. I walk out to find around 200 chips scattered on the table and floor.

Thanks alot warewulf

I call bull$**t on both of these claims. First, 250 chips would be much higher than 2.5 feet. Second, no way are you stacking 46 creamers. That'd be four feet (about the same as 250 chips) on a wobbly Denny's table.

I agree just because I've never seen a level Denny's table! Plus, I have a hard time getting one creamer!

We'll have to see who can break the record. SOMEONE at least has to have 1000 chips! Maybe if we get a pic posted people will feel the need to break the record!

I'd like to propose a side bet -- I say Chipcos go the highest! Could it be Paulson? TR King? Bud Jones (not many people have those).

I just got a few metal center chip samples -- I'm going to try to magnetize them and stick them to my refrigerator. They might go pretty high if someone magnetized a few 1000 of them!

I'd post a pic, but I currently only own 300 hot stamped diamond chips until my 1000 suits chips come in!

250 was not that hard. I might have been able to get to 400 if I wasn't clumsy and decided posing for a picture was a good idea.

LOL...

It was a real rough guess on the height. But I had stacks of 50 in my case. Each stack of 50 is around 7 inches. So this was 35 inches. About 3 feet.

Anyone have a chip dimension to try to guess better?

[/ QUOTE ]

Chipco's are 0.130 inches... 250 x 0.130" = 32.5" = 2 feet & 17/24 inches = 2.70833333...

If they are magnetic you might not even have to magnetize them, just put a biga$$ electromagnet under the table. Im sure there are a lot of engineering majors out there that would be willing to give it a try.

Is the challenge to stack them in a single column, or can they be stacked (as long as it is a single chip footprint) outwards? I have stacked over 300 on a single chip, but the tower spread out a bit making it quite a bit shorter.

I'm asking for a regular stack -- one on top of the other. No artsy, psysics defying crap, just a regular stack. Height is what I'm going for. For the pics, a tape measure would be appreciated so we can compare and see who's go highest. I assume newer chips will stack better than used.

I stand corrected on the 250-chip height.

I stick by my call of BS on the creamers.

I managed to get about 30 more whites before it collapsed.
