Default 2+2 Tourney - Hand 1

Thanks for having the tournament. Even though I spent half the tournament asking myself "What the heck is he raising?", it was fun to see the game played completely differently from anything that I have seen before.

And as usual, I want to learn, so I'm asking a whole bunch of questions.

I would have folded this hand if there had not been a coldcaller. Would that have been bad? Was there too much aggression on 4th?

your hand is marginal at best in 8/b. When an ace raises you must tighten up, as it's the most powerful card in any split game(being both highest and lowest you are playing three cards and he is essentially playing 4). the ideal time to a play a non-consecutive big str8 flush draw is in last position in an unraised pot. if your hand was qjt suited instead, a call would be ok.

Seems fine to me. Seat 3 sucks pretty bad though.

I'm not sure I follow the 4th street 3-bet, but if you explain your reasoning I might agree with it.

If I had solid reasoning, I'd give it. But I don't think it was there.

I felt it had turned into a stud high game because I don't think he would continue jamming after the brick (and the flush outs are already quite dead). And all I really know about stud high is to watch out when the door card is paired. I was hoping to give him enough incentive to get away from his high hand by representing trips.
