Default reprint of \"art of war\"

I really hope 2+2 didn't pay money to some random guy in order to publish Sun Tzu's The Art of War.

If you did, well, I would be happy to provide a series of articles entitled "Mason Malmuth's The Prince" for the next twenty issues.

Since there are at least two poker books applying Sun Tzu to poker, that article was indeed not informative. In fact there are a couple other lesser known eastern strategy books that could have been analyzed with regards to poker without rehashing an already written upon topic.

But hey, the 2+2 magazine is free and no one forced me to read that article which I didn't since I only needed to skim it to see what it was.

thing is, the article didn't even try to apply sun tzu to poker.

I attach no specific aspect of Hold 'em to any of these Concepts, as readers will make their own interpretations and evaluations as to how the wisdom and knowledge of Sun Tzu Sklansky are relevant to their game.

he just listed a bunch of sun tzu's advice and essentially said, "work it into your poker game!" gee, thanks. can i submit the ten commandments to the magazine with the foreward [sic] "interpret these ancient laws to improve your poker!" and expect it to be published?

You could, but I think you'd get more money out of Numbers.
