Default Bears/Carolina announcers

I seem to remember there being some rule about posting about announcers in this forum, but I don't remember the details but either way.

Anyone who watched the game notice that Bill Maas had the Bears anointed as the best D ever and Kyle Orton as a sure fire hall-of famer by mid 2nd quarter? Maas actually made a comment to the effect of the fact that he had considered statrting Orton in his fantasy league, and now wishes he did. At the time, orton was about 6-11 for 1 TD and 70 yards, again, mid second quarter.

Yeah, I lost alot of $$$ on the game, but they still blew.

At least they didn't say "if you can't get one yard, you don't deserve to win" though.

Bill Maas is the worst football announcer by a significant margin. He [censored] sucks and never shuts up. It's so awful.

The only ones I've heard that are close are the Sunday night crew. No one else compares.

Yea Bill Maas has done a lot of Bears games this year and he just blows. I hate Joe Buck, Madden, Moose Johnson, Troy Aikman, Chris Colinsworth, the Monday night crew, Steve Tasker and Kevin HARlin more though.

Funny thing is I was more annoyed about how they kept talking about the Panthers "just going through the motions. And they look like they didn't show up today." I guess it's all your point of view.

Oh, and for Kyle Orton 6-11 for 70 yards and a TD is Hall of Fame numbers. I'll give him a slight break because he has seen a lot of Bears games and Orton did look much better than he had most of the season.

By the way Dali, your opinion of the bears defense is now?
