I don't like the preflop call in the second hand. I generally will only play SC's if I'm the original bettor, can see a flop cheap, or have some implied odds. With no reads, you don't know what your implied odds are, since you have no idea what your opponents raising range is.

Looks like you ran into KK on hand #1. I think you should have lead the flop. As played, fold the turn.

I think that the river bet on #2 is not good without a read.

Hand 1 make it like $36 PF, I think the way you played it you are gauranteed to lose the max to KK and have poor chances of stacking anything else.

Hand 2 looks fine.

I agree with hand 1. That said, are you just betting pot on the flop, or a little less, and getting it all in on the turn? Or is there a way you're playing it to give yourself a chance to fold?

Once I make it $36 PF I'm not giving myself a chance to fold, I'm trying to find a way for me to get it all in. Unless this guy is aggro as hell that is going to involve me putting the chips in myself, which probably means bet, bet, bet some more.

I understand that a flop CR loses some hands we may have been able to stack if we just bet/bet (badly played QQ/JJ, stubborn KQ, etc)...

But if we assume player is solid (i know he said no reads, but i usually always have reads, at the very least pt stats), and we bet $40-60 on the flop and he just calls, do you ever check/fold the turn if you bet $60 on the flop and were called, or if you bet $40 on the flop and bet 1/2 to 2/3 on the turn and are raised? Seems like only hands I put solid player on are 99/TT/KK/QJs?/AK, may be KQs. But obv against an aggro/unknown we just hope to get money in.

Hand 1: raise preflop more, and either lead the flop, or put in a non-pussy c/r.

I really don't see the point of the c/r here, esp. such a small one, considering that you were willing to call his push anyway.
