CR turn semibluff is called,river bricks one more barrel or wasted bt?

10/20 and above usually 6 max. I haven't looked through my HH but I honestly can't remember the last time someone called my turn CR and folded the river. I've wasted 2 BB on river bricks that in hindsight I think anyone called the CR is calling the river. T or F wasting a BB in these situations?

post this in the short handed forum, but yea, if they call the checkraise, and you miss, you can often just check fold the river.
