That's the internet thing right? I always subscribe to MLB extra innings from my cable company and I find it well worth it. But I like watching lots of games and seeing pitchers I may not otherwise get a chance to look at. It helps me make sense of the numbers if I get to watch a little. Bad bounces and bloops? Or belt high meatballs down the middle? Take Wickman yesterday from Cleveland blowing it in the 9th. Beware! He was just laying it in there with basically nothing on it.

if you've never viewed games on mlb.tv before, definitely get a shorter subscription so you can sample the video quality, which is very poor.

also, be aware that your local games will be blacked out. i got the service largely so i could watch the cubs games that weren't on TV in central illinois, and was annoyed to find out that i couldn't.

if you get the full year subscription, i definitely recommend upgrading to all-access for the condensed games. those things are a great way to catch up on all the games during the day.

ya i bought mlbtv for the 2nd consecutive year... Probably the best deal out there... 80 bucks for all those games, well worth it. Only thing bad about it where i live is that I don't get cubs games or cardinal games, regardless of them being on tv or not. So that kinda blows, but other than that I love it.

Its much better watching updates on espn or cbssportsline or whatever
