Default Heads-up ...losing faith in my play

I'm going through a spell where everytime it gets HU in a SNG...I ALWAYS take second. I just need assurance from you guys that I'm making the correct moves.

How do thsse look:
(All of these are $55 SNG so 10k chips in play)

1. Blinds 200/400
I'm in SB w/ KJo, 6200 chips ...I push

2. Blinds 250/500
I'm in SB w/ 22, 3400 chips....I push

3. Blinds 300/600
I'm in BB w/ A2o, 7000 chips...opponents pushes and I CALL.

4. Blinds 250/500
I'm in SB w/ 9Qo, 1900 chips...I push

5. Blinds 250/500
I'm in SB w/ 5Ts, 8900 chips...I push

Any other input w/ HU play in general would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

I fold 3 and 5.

3 because, while pushing with any ace vs a random hand is good...A2 is a pretty weak calling hand. You are hoping to be a slight favorite but can very easily be dominated.

5 because he is almost in a must call situation and will call with a very wide range of hands that will have you beat.

All of them look good except

"5. Blinds 250/500
I'm in SB w/ 5Ts, 8900 chips...I push"

I fold this unless I think there is a chance he folds to my push, which there shouldn't be.

Jman is wrong. Push all 5. 3 is good b/c an ace is the best hand 90% of the time headsup, and the blinds are just too damn high. 5 is a push as well b/c the BB still may only call with the top 70% of hands, and if you are called its like rolling a dice with you only having to hit a 5 or 6 to win.

Remember, when you are HU, you ALWAYS want to give your opponent a chance to bust, esp when it does relatively little danger to your stack.

I just ran this through SNG power tools..
Here is an intersting little fact I just found out.
Stacks:
Hero 8900 before post
Villian 1100 before post
Blinds are 300/600
Hero is SB.
If you know the villian is going to call with any 2 which he should be.. then you should only be raising with the top 57% of hands thats (22+,A2+,K2+,Q3o+,Q2s+,J6o+,J3s+,T7o+,T6s+,98o,97s +,87s)

Can't push #3.

Myst - Jman is wrong.

I think Jman said that he pushes if there is a fair chance the villain will fold some hands. So, you are wrong about him being wrong.

and if you are called its like rolling a dice with you only having to hit a 5 or 6 to win.

or like getting all in in poker with a hand likely to be the worst. Whichever analogy works for you.

First of all, who the hell are you??? Lol.

2nd, I dont evaluate things through ICM once it gets headsup. To me, its all about giving players chances to bust, AS LONG AS MY CHIP POSITION IS NOT HORRIBLY COMPROMISED.

Take that for what its worth.
