Default AK, TPTK OOP, nice board

Much wrong with my play on this hand?
Asume no reads!

MP+1 ($189.65)
MP+2 ($32.50)
CO ($47.00)
Button ($96.50)
SB ($52.10)
BB ($270.40)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to $4, 5 folds, Button raises to $8, 2 folds, Hero calls $4.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero checks, Button bets $6, Hero calls $6.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero bets $22, Button calls $22.

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bets $42, Button raises all-in to $60.50, Hero calls $18.50

Nice deception play? No?
Trap KK-QQ for a bet? No?

I don't know. Was just trying something out i guess.
It was stupid, right?

This check on the flop is super-weak, and the check-call of such a small bet is worse. The pot's $16 - either lead for $13 or when he bets $6, raise it to $20.

I guess the rest is OK, but I hate the flop line.

i don't understand the check/call, either.

if you're gonna check the flop, i think you have to c/r. c/c is bad.

other than the flop, you played the rest of the hand well, looks to be a chop to me...

This line is bizzare, after the reraise I still pot this flop.
checking is usually not correct on the flop without a very strong hand after alot of PF action.

i can see the check to get an underpair to bet, but just calling instead of raising doesnt seem like the best line.

So if I just c/r the flop instead, the rest is fine?

Showdown: Button shows J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Thank you for the replies!

No. Lead the flop.
