Default Intertops weirdness: $500 MIA

I created a new account at Intertops on Wednesday and deposited $500 from Neteller into my account. Everything seemed to work fine (i.e. I got a 'deposit successful' message on the webpage/account screen) but when I went to play there was no money in my account.

I got the Neteller transaction ID a couple hours after I made the deposit and spent an hour on the phone with Intertops trying to take care of the situation...no luck.

I got in touch with the Investigations department at Neteller the following day. My Neteller account clearly showed a $500 debit to Intertops. I was told that my Intertops account would be credited within 12 hours....no luck.

Yesterday, I contacted Neteller again and was told the 'next step' was taken and my account should be credited shortly...no luck.

Anyone have anything like this happen before? I don't even care about Intertops anymore, I'd be happy with the $500 back in my Neteller account.

Should I be worried?

your deposit goes into the sportsbook
you need to transfer from the sportsbook to your poker account

took me a few to learn this one as well

OMFG you're right. I just logged into the sportsbook and there's my $500. I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned in ANY of the conversations I've had with customer support.

Now, uhmmm, how do I transfer?

I made the same mistake but I can't figure out how to transfer from the sportsbook to the poker site. Please explain?

Thanks.

From the poker lobby, go the cashier window and click deposit. That should bring up the deposit web window with the various options. One of those options is Intertops.com....choose this and you can transfer from the sportsbook.

I would urge anyone that has had an InterTops account to log on and select deposit/transfer from sportsbook. I did this and was surprised to find that I had $249.96 to transfer. I have never been in the sportsbook nor casino if they have one. Not sure if this could be some kind of bonus or maybe tourney winnings?

Thank you,

Jim Kuhn

I haven't had any trouble depositing by Neteller and withdrawing directly.

The only thing is I requested my "Last 5 hands" from Intertops and got my last 5 from PokerNow.
