Two years ago, when I was 23, i dreamed of becoming the next Mike Mizrachi....Unfortunately lack of poker disipline and a career have gotten in my way....
When i was a teenager i used to dream of becoming the next big baseball star only to watch those dreams slip away due to lack of talent....Now, it's happening again as my dream of becoming the next "young gun" of poker is looking less and less likely.

And hey, no magazine is complete without a stupid article by Robert "Shitbird" Varkonyi! Luckily there are lots of really good articles by Keller, Ciaffone, Negreanu, and Martin De Kniff's article is right on the money.

I do have a subscription to the print version.. Trying to figure out why.
I think that the paid subscribers to the print version should get their copies before it's put up on the net. Since when I do get my print version the only thing that it's good for are looking at the ads.. Anyone else feel the same way?

I get my issue in the mail about a day after the newer one is available online. For example, the Feb.25 issue arrived on March 2. I wrote to them about this but they haven't bothered to reply.

No, no, Hellmuth's article was great to read, just for his reaction to McEvoy saying something a little out of line to him. For Hellmuth to say "if someone else had said that, I would have told the other pros to watch out for the guy and his bad etiquette," is a riot. I guess he really does believe that he's becoming known as the "gentleman of poker," as he said during one of the WSOP broadcasts this year.
