Movin' on Up

I'm a regular 10-20 player, and have been taking shots at the 20-40 game. I've just been trying to play straightforward, hoping to learn something new, and get a feel for the players. Anyway, I was playing tonight, and was in fold city, cold cards for the most part. When i would get a premo hand, i'd get a few callers. And for the most part i would see people trying to pull moves on me all the time, only to hit a long shot. Is it because I was playing somewhat predictable that my opponents were taking shots at me? Probably, but I'd have something like AK, hit a king, and someone would play back at me, only to outdraw. I probably want the calls, but maybe they know something i dont?
