Default Session Post 1 Hand 41

I am a little curious on this hand. This would normally be a limping hand in a multi-way pot for me and definitely a raise first in. Do you have a read on the button and blinds that would indicate a fold here for you? I can see myself throwing this away against a dyed-in-the-wool maniac from the blinds but curious as to the thought. Of course this could also be a major leak in my game as well. Thanks.

The K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the CO hand? Yeah you are too loose.

Yeah looks like I still have lots to learn, because on the next hand I see the hero raise with KJo in MP2 and that is one I am normally willing to chuck. Thanks.

Still learning the basics of poker and I tend to play a little tighter in the MP positions. Back to SSHE for review on these.

My reasoning is that with a raise in late position, if I don't steal the blinds it's likely to be a very shorthanded pot. In such cases, I prefer to have the jack kicker than the sootedness.

I don't think K6s is a value raise if you know the blinds will always call. If the blinds are tight and I have some added fold equity then I don't mind taking a shot.
