sweet monitor deals
I'm fairly new, but I have found great info in the 2+2 forums. I thought I would pass this along.
There are a few retailers on Ebay who offer returned "B" stock of Dell 20" monitors. I bought one to see if they were worth it. I paid $220. There are two tiny discolerations on the screen. It does not affect my poker playing or net surfing at all. I bought another one for $180. Thios one has a tiny line running across the bottom of the screen. Again, nothing to bother poker. Now I can 8 table with the best of them. All for $400! |

Re: sweet monitor deals
I'm guessing its a 2000fp. NO one ever talks about it, but its a 20" LCD with 1600x1200 resolution. I hear the picture quailty is way below that of a 2001fp, but it should be fine for poker.

Re: sweet monitor deals
If these are the ones I saw a couple weeks ago on ebay, they WERE 2000fp. The dealer was from Dallas, Texas and was selling them for between $220 to $250. He had several and appeared to be a refurbisher. His descriptions seemed pretty straight forward about possible blemishes and he offered a 90 day warranty or something like that. I thought about getting two but opted for new ones with full warranty.

ironically the cheaper one was the 2001. The 2000 is not quite the picture quality, but it is fine for poker

Re: sweet monitor deals
I advise you to click on the link and order the 2001 if you are thinking about getting one. This is the best deal I have ever seen.

Re: sweet monitor deals
you have to be careful and read every word in the auction. I saw a nice 2001fp for only 132 dollars. Problem was there was no power cord or pedestal stand. Just the monitor. Said he had the moniter hooked up to a 6 monitor stand.
