Default Scary pre-flop action with KK (25NL)

New to this forum, I just started nut peddling on PP NL25 recently as a diversion from my bread & butter - SNGs. Anyway, I've found these NL25 games to be incredibly soft, but I just had a hand that was interesting. UTG+1 had been a bit on the LAG side, but not so much pre-flop. Usually he could be counted to bet every flop that he saw...

Villian's mini re-raise pre-flop sure smelled like aces to me. I just couldn't think of another hand that he's mini re-raising with here. I guess it was just 25 NL donkishness.

How is my line here? Is my pre-flop call after the re-raise weak? On the flop, I figure that I'm either way behind or way ahead, so calling entices him to bet the turn when I'm ahead. Comments on all streets appreciated.

Not that I had even considered laying my kings down pre-flop here, but I'm used to NEVER laying them down in a SNG, regardless of the pre-flop action. Again, I wasn't going to lay them down here, but I'm wondering if a never lay them down pre-flop policy just isn't the way to go in low limit ring games too?
