the flop is 955 rainbow. checked around. the turn is a Q. sb checks, i bet, cutoff calls, sb folds. the river is a 7. i check, cuotff bets i checkraise, and he calls. my hand is good. comments? |

Re: 75s bb hand 20-40
I will often fold this hand before the flop, but I'm not sure its a big deal either way.
After that, I think you played perfectly. Stuck but good players generally bet the flop in this situation but may get defeatist and fold if you bet out, so I like the check. Betting the turn was good. But I think checkraising the river was brilliant against this type of player, given the betting sequence. |

Re: 75s bb hand 20-40
Most times I would bet the flop because who could put you on a 5? However a good player may let go here. So checking the flop and betting the turn says "I'm trying to pick up this pot." Now checking the river says "I missed." , and you get to check raise . Nice Hand. Jeff
