Default Foxwoods -- Low Stakes Game, Report

FWIW, I just got back from Foxwoods, played some 2-4 limit, and 1-2 NL.

2-4 limit was incredibly soft. 5-6 seeing the flop most hands. Almost all calling stations. No skill required here, wait for your big hands to come, bet bet bet. Don't bluff, Don't do anything fancy, just play tighter than anyone else at the table and chips will come your way.

1-2 Table. I can't believe that this table was representative. 7-8 players saw the flop to see if anything developed. In a real sense, it was coin flipping for most players, not poker. Again, the strategy seemed to be play tight, and take the pot when it's yours. One additional factor that made my table profitable is that one player, bless his heart, would almost always call a river bet just to keep you honest. I was very honest and got lots of his chips.
