Furgeson says have to be very intelligent! Is he right?

I think the problem here is that you are somehow associating degrees with intelligence. I know tons of people with degrees, even masters degrees, that aren't real swift in the head, as well as plenty of very bright people that never went to college or dropped out before ever getting a degree.

Some prominent examples of college dropouts would be Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, and Michael Dell... all of whom have made themselves billionaires in the high tech field.... an accomplishment that I think most people would agree requires at least a modicum of intelligence.... yet none of them have a degree.
