I honestly wished tiffany would of called with KJs and won the hand with some kind of luckbox flush. Then I hope everybody adds this play to their arsenal. I wonder what Raymer was thinking after he got called by AJo. Anyways I hope everybody at that table got a good laugh when the show aired. Except for the guy who called the raise w/ A10 he is probably shaking his head saying "bad laydown you had KJs dumbazz". Peace.

I wish tiffany had called so she could have felt like a goddamn ass after saying how she knew he didnt have aces. Another very annoying thing was that fat white guy(bowler). He got lucky at least 10 times on the river, and he let everyone in the casino know it. After the guy called his all-in with A10 he started bitching.

Do you not think that perhaps she was saying that to try to get a reaction from him? She was looking at him as she said it. If he's got Aces or Kings, she's in big trouble and if she can somehow detect a tell by saying that...then she can know to lay it down?

I'm not trying to defend her because I think her play was pretty horrible at the TV table, but...

Hey, I respect a guy who knows he a bad enough player (either truly, or relative to his opponent in the hand) that he won't risk losing more chips with a crappy hand. Eyes on the prize. It's about the money, not the ego when you're a dead-money player.

I think the interesting thing is how the pushbot style of play gets on the nerves of some of the pros. I remember Lederer complaining how every time he raised someone pushes all-in. It must get annoying to the pros who are used to outplaying weaker players post-flop.

My feeling is that a lot of the weaker players have learned the lesson that the all-in bet eliminates the skill edge the pros have - thus the tournaments come down to who wins the races and who gets lucky when the all-in gets called.

That being said, in a field of 5,000+ there's no way to win without a lot of luck, no matter how good you are. Even if you could see your opponent's cards, and only went all-in when you were a 2-1 favorite, you'd need a lot of luck to keep dodging the suckouts and win.

In the coverage, I believed they first showed Hachem all in on the bubble, which, of course, he won. They've also shown Dannenman all in a couple times with, to quote Lon, "his tournament life at stake."

Yes, in the WSOP you will have to win all your critical coin flips (duh) and all in moves neutralize being outplayed post flop. This seems to have started because of the online influence beginning with Moneymaker and ESPN.

What happened in WSOP '04? It was the so called year of the young gun as proclaimed by ESPN. Pros in general had not made the adjustment to how they style had changed.

What happened in WSOP '05? I believe pros made the adjustment and you saw the return of name pros winning bracelets. As has been said before, what we're really watching is a documentary of the WSOP with storylines as decided by ESPN. From a story standpoint, I think it is compelling and draws the average viewer in. That's great for poker (I'm sorry, I mean NLHE). From a NLHE standpoint, it's watching a train wreck as we watch confrontation after confrontation and suckout after suckout.

If the WSOP is a joke, then it's a $7.5 Million joke and climbing and I certainly would rather be a donkey and rich then opinionated, broke, and bitter.

Tiffany Williamson gets time called and can't make a decision? I believed that just happed to John Phan at the WSOP circuit event at Harrah's on the Bubble vs Jesus. Is he a donkey?

I'm not sure which is worse, being rude and disgusting on purpose or out of ignorance. Either is immature and shows absolutely no respect for others. I don't care if someone "disrespects the game", but anyone showing such disrespect for others is pond scum.
