Black Sabbath (with Ronnie James Dio) 1981 Mob Rules tour. Would have liked to see them with Ozzie but RJD was pretty good.

The Cure, but Red Hot Chili Peppers and X opened.

X was great, and Red Hot Chili Peppers came out in nothing but sox on there jocks.

I would go see the opening acts anytime, Cure, I would pass on.

I also saw Iron Maiden, at Long Beach CA. The same year, it was the show the recorded the Live After Deatch album. Great show, I would see them again.

What was the first concert you went to? And would you go see that band now?

[/ QUOTE ]

Boston, 1979, The Summit in Houston. I was 15. No I'm sick of their music now.

It was either Bush with Hum and The Toadies or The Urge. I'd like to see all 4 bands again.

Aerosmith, "Done with Mirrors" tour circa 1985 or so at the Lynn Manning Bowl in Lynn, MA. It was about 100 degrees out, some maniac stabbed a bunch of people in the audiance, and the show got stopped for about 10 minutes in order for Steven Tyler to talk a fruitcake down off a light tower.

technically it was the urge, because I went to high school with most of the band members, otherwise, i think the only "real" concert ive ever been too is the dixie chicks (because i was trying to nail this chick, and she like them alot)...it wasnt worth it.
