Party SNGs and MGR

A friend of mine is looking at getting set up as an affiliate for either Party or one of their skins. The players he would sign up play primarily SNGs and tournaments.

He's been told by Party that "rake is collected only in the cash games, not on the tournaments" and "MGR is calculated using the rake generated on the real money games only."

Yet many people on this forum talk about receiving rakeback from Party or Party skins, and several rakeback affiliates have statements in their FAQ like "For Party Poker and skins SNG's and MTT's count towards the rake you pay. A $30+$3 MTT would count as $3 in rake paid."

In other words, we're seeing conflicting information. What's the real status? Those of you who are receiving rakeback on your SNG fees, are you playing on Party or on a skin, and if a skin, which one?

SNGs work the same way

But Party support is telling us that neither the $30+3 SNG nor the $30+3 MTT contributes to MGR. Are they wrong?

I can't say for sure about Party but it works this way on Empire which is a skin.

dude Party stopped giving rakeback some time ago.
