Resorts in Indiana (Chicago area) has 3/6 and 5/10 Pineapple, rotating through all three versions. Doesn't always go

My girlfriend managed to talk the Rio into starting a list for 2/4 O8 (I know... not "other" but 2/4!?), which of course never got going. I also got a call from a friend asking if I thought he should play in the 3/6 HORSE game that was apparently being spread there at about that time.

There's no way in bloody hell I'd sit in a Razz game at GVR. From all the horror stories I've heard, the dealers there can't even read a holdem board correctly most of the time.

Take papa to Commerce. $5/point, dealer takes $1 a hand (expensive game to play) and practically no tips. Dealer helps the players read their hands if asked, but otherwise each player is essentially playing HU against the others. You pay each other, the dealer does not get involved.

I hope Papa is rich, because its a brutal game. I really like it none the less.

Badugi is not allowed in Vegas according to Raymer's online cardplayer interview at a WSOP cash game. But they play it anyway under another name as they did.

I don't live anywhere near California, but there are still small pockets of A-5 Lowball being played by (mostly) oldtimers. The games are dying out as the regulars pass on and the rooms switch to holdem. Here's a recent RGP thread on the state of California lowball. I found it fascinating that the town of Lodi was the last holdout in allowing non-draw poker games to be spread.

Oaks Card Club spreads Lowball. One draw, Ato5 (I think), no dealer. Watched it for a few minutes, nobody under the age of 50 sitting in.

At the broadway Casino in Birmingham there's a Pot-Limit Omaha 1/2 or 2/4 blinds unlimited buy-in game. Now that's not an other game in itself but the only thing is it's dealer's choice between 4 card omaha all the way up to 6 card omaha. I have trouble remembering all my holecards on numerous occasions.
