Re: i folded jacks full boat, and my first limit jump.
lead the flop for $4. since you didn't, CR.
lead the turn for $5, since you didn't, CR. your hand is by no means infallible. |

Re: i folded jacks full boat, and my first limit jump.
I don't think I like the way you played the flop and turn. Personally, I would lead this flop, esp. if villain is aggressive and would raise a king here.
Once you check and he bets only .25, I would raise. A minbet like that can mean a variety of things at this level, but if he has nothing, then you probably arent making much anyway. On the other hand, if he likes to minbet with big hands (2 pair, TPTK, etc) or with draws, you need to raise. Once you get to the turn, I definitely do not understand your play. I like a lead here again, partly because a draw will check behind here and you give a free card/lose some serious value. Once he bets, you really need to c/r. If he's bluffing, he probably won't get much more out of him anyway, so letting him see another card is pointless. Against everything else--you have a big hand. You have a hand that wants to play a big pot, but you can't win a big pot playing this passively. As for the river (given your play so far)--I would probably call, but I guess this is opponent dependent. |
