Default I Stink at Party 1/2

Villain has VP$IP of 15.29, PFR of 11.76, and aggro factor of 4.5 on the flop, 3.0 on the turn. This is only 25 hands though.

Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 17.50 BB

Villain caps PF which I think makes him more likely to hold KK. Does anyone like the flop C/R or 3-betting the turn?

Ehhhh maybe I should stop 4-tabling and put more concentration into just 3 tables.

How did you put him on KK when he raises the turn?

This is a shitty flop for him. He is behind all hands here except for AK/TT, and AK/TT probably aren't going to check/raise the flop. Call here down after the turn raise imo.

I'd probably bet the flop then 3-bet a raise.
If he caps, you may lead the turn, then go into check-call mode. Or if you think he might have QQ, check/call from the turn.

Yeah, you're probably right. I need to start thinking about what my opponent thinks I have. I'm playing too straightforward.

KK does seem likely, since he just called your raise on the flop. Maybe he was waiting for a blank on the turn since the board was a bit coordinated. I would think QQ would cap every street. I think I'd play it as you did (3-bet the turn and slow down from the cap), although I'd probably just bet out on the flop.

The turn 3-bet is way too much. Overplaying hands becomes inreasingly costly as the table tightens up -- you're routinely contributing a higher % of the pot, and mistakes are magnified without all the extra overlay.

This is classic way ahead/way behind. Check/call, check/call, bet. The only real decision is whether to call a river raise, which I'd probably do against an apparent TAG who is at least somewhat likely to recognize the line.

*** edit ***

Never mind. Neglected to consider AK. Your line is fine, but I call down after the turn raise.

Yeah. Me too. I sat down on my couch and thought, "wait a minute... AK has lots of outs against KK." Then I just sat down again and said, "wait a minute... didn't we have AA?" You beat me to a further edit.
