Default Hypothetical question about Indy/Tenn game last week

Line was around 15.5. People were still betting Indy. How high would the line have needed to be to balance action? 17? 21? 24? More?

in the 3+1 league, I took Indy. I would not have put real money on them unless it was something like -10. I would have not played the game in the 3+1 league if it had been higher than -17 I think.

Why make bets in 3+1 that you wouldn't in real life?

For me, I would say 3 TD's. I had Tenn in a teaser at +22. Didn't work out so well.

I know you're just poking some fun but for a serious answer, there are some weeks (like this one) where I like less than four games. The remaining picks are just hunches to fill out the form. Otherwise, I absolutely take them in real life as well.

As for Indy, I liked them last week to tease them down butnot enough to bet them straight. For me, I guess the line was already high enough (-16 at my book) not to take them straight.

I make around 2-3 sports bets per week, and usually only ones that are heavily confirmed by fellow posters. I don't take it very seriously, and it would be silly to actually make real money bets on games just because I'm dinking around with play money on this forum.

17.5, and I base that on nothing.

I would have bet Tennessee at +32.5 or so.

Doug, I'm glad I've read enough of your posts to know when you're being sarcastic, because otherwise I'd just think you sucked at sports betting.
