Good answer. In KC we have Boulavard Brewery, which makes seasonal beers as well as year long selections, like Wheat, and Pale Ale.

Fat Tire is good. Most serious beer snobs would say it's not nearly the best beer made by New Belgium. I suggest you try some of their other beers.

Boulevard w/ lemon
blue moon w/ orange

Boddington is good
Schlafly coffe stout, schlafly heffenweizen, basically most schlafly stuff is awesome.

I had Fat Tire for the first time when I stayed at the Mirage earlier this month. I drank it exclusively and plentifully while I was there, and enjoyed it. I'm not much into Ambers, but it was good for what it was, and was certainly better than the other stuff they had there.
