Time to slowplay?
This is the same 6/12 game as before. This time SB is the super loose passive guy, the button is a player that I respect and has been quite solid other than being slightly loose preflop. I am pretty sure he respects my play. CO is the other borderline calling station
I have 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in BB MP2 calls, CO calls, button calls, SB completes, I check. Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Checked around Turn: 10[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB bets, I call, CO calls, button raises, SB calls, I 3-bet, CO folds, button 4-bets, SB calls 1/2 more all-in, I call. River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check, Button bets, I call. It seemed like a decent time to slowplay, but in retrospect, considering that 2 very loose players were involved in the hand, I think betting is much better. |

Re: Time to slowplay?
Because a player who I have identified as solid (and identifies me as same) has 4-bet my call-reraise on the turn and I don't think he does that with only 2 pair.

But will he limp JJ or TT on the button? I think you're ahead a lot here if he's good and aggressive preflop. either check-raise or bet/call the river. |

Re: Time to slowplay?
JJ/TT probably not, but 77 looks like a good candidate.

I'm a fucking idiot. I thought hero had 77, and I was putting button on 33.
nevermind. well played. |

Re: Time to slowplay?
What am I ahead of here that he could possibly 4-bet me with? JT he bets the flop. T7 maybe, but given his position, I think he bets the flop with that also. J3 and J7 are too trashy for him to have (J7s is an outside possibility I guess). So that leaves 2 possibilities I think: 77 and 89. I don't think he'd limp on the button with JJ or TT.

Re: Time to slowplay?
Sucks that the flop checked through. I tend to bet here hoping to get raised so I can check/raise the turn.
Since the flop checked through, I like the turn and I'd lead the river and call a raise. |
