Default JJ, Reraised by a TAG

CO is TAG. He 3 bet me pf so i'm putting him on AK, AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT. Decided to check raise flop to limit field and find out where i was at with the TAG. When he responded by reraising me i then eleminated chance he had AK and thought all i could beat was TT. Because of this i called, saw turn and then folded. Correct?

The pot is big, I'd call this down.
He could have AK, AJs or even TT.
Probably AA or KK though, BUt I'd call it down when the pot is this big.

How tag of a TAG is he?

Because you can add 99 and others to his hand range if he raises preflop alot.

when believing in your read, this is a good time NOT to cap preflop.

i don't like the c/r and here's why: the board is ragged, and if you're up against a premium pocket pair, there is no need to limit the field as you're likely behind and not improving your hand. plus if i'm villain, i REALLY doubt you have trip Qs and will 3-bet you with any pocket pair i have, so you've learned nothing.

i probably would have just check/called at least the flop and turn and bet/fold the river UI. the reason: i'll let AK, TT and worse continue to bet and i doubt i'm going to get raised here unless he has my Jax beat.

As i remember it quite standard - 17-18% flops seen and raising about 9%

To isolate all the limpers for 2 bets. Didnt want them stickin around with aces or kings or anythin else they mite get lucky with.

All sounds good. What's UI mean tho? Think this is a common error of mine - raising where i should be check calling.
