Default Who else would\'ve gone broke?

I really felt like I made the right move but I always like to get feedback from the board. The UTG has been really pushing his weight around recently and had just knocked out two guys in 5 hands. Tell me what you think.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t800 (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

MP (t8410)
CO (t12690)
Button (t1970)
Hero (t12188)
BB (t4745)
UTG (t27497)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls t800, 3 folds, Hero raises to t3200, 1 fold, UTG raises to t8850, Hero raises to t12138, UTG calls t3338.

Flop: (t24526) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Turn: (t24526) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t24526) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: t24526

I dunno. I know pushing AA KK QQ is usually the correct play here but you raised 4x BB and he came back over the top with a 1/3 his stack and 10xBB bet (showing you serous strength and that he's not bluffing) which you called. You're effectively all in at this point anyway and not going to get him away from this hand since he has you covered and it's only t3338 for him to call. I think I would've folded and picke a better spot since you still have c. t9000 left, but I cant' fault the push.

So what happened?? He show AK?

keep in mind that this is a 6-max table, so the action tends to be more aggressive than a normal mtt.

the villain has been "pushing his weight around".

sure, he could have aa or kk. but i would expect him to turn over ak or even much weaker hands such as 44 or 9Ts (with which he was attempting to push you off of your hand) a significant amount of the time. lags do this.

When somebody who has been "pushing their weight around" limps UTG, and then reraises a substantial raise, alarm bells should start ringing.

So you would've walked away from the queens then?

yeah, I hear you. I don't play a lot of 6-max but I hear it's full of LAGs who do this kinda stuff. Not sure you can get away from this hand but once he reraises I would think he'd throw aways some of the junk you mentioned but if he's a total maniac maybe not - what level is this?

This is low level stuff. I'm still learning (obviously) so I've only been playing the $5 and $1 tourneys when I get a chance. This play was typical of him recently. He'd limp and wait until people got in and then he'd raise or reraise the first chance he got. It is in fact how he knocked out the guy in 7th place. That time I believe he got lucky on the turn to get the card he needed.

Its hard to say without having been there and seen just how he was playing.
His reraise is is essentially putting you all in, but without putting you all in, which screams even more strength.

I'd like to think I fold.
