Default UTG push

Was this bad? I'm trying to adjust to the fact that im about to be hit with a blind but with so many hands to go through i think this was bad. Was it?

I think its a bad push. Most any hand that calls (any high-ish ace, any pair) has you beaten pretty badly, and there are still 5 to act, so the chance that one of them has a hand that can call is quite high. (Not to mention that the 2 blinds you're trying to steal are the 2 bigstacks at the table, and therefore more likely to call with mid aces or low-mid pairs, which beat you just as badly as high aces or high pairs) If the blinds are going to go up next hand, then MAYBE its a push, but I dont think A4 will do it at this point.

If blinds are going up next hand you will only have 3xbb with no FE, so i belive this is acutally a good push, for the amount of blinds you have here.

Good push. Do you want to be a sitting duck in the blind with 83o and only 470 left? No thanks. Take your chances and, if you lose, move on to the next game. If you win, you either bought yourself another round to find a good hand by taking the blinds, or you doubled up and are right in the thick of things.

I don't think it's particuarly bad or particuarly routine either, I'm certain people will argue both ways.

What you may want to concentrate on is the four or five hands prior to this one and see how you got in this spot.

Just a thought.
