Default $30/60 T9s

Seven-handed online $30/60.

Two limpers to me in cut-off with T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I limp too. Button raises, which I have also seen him do against limps with 5-5 in the same spot. Big blind calls too, so five to the flop for two bets each.

Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Checked to me, I bet, button raises, big blind folds and both cold-callers call.

Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Checked to me, I bet, button raises, first limper folds, second limper cold calls and I fold.

Fishy?

I really like the way you bet into the PFR on both the flop and turn. I don't think people do that enough as they usually do the standard check-to-raiser. You've pretty much made it clear that you hold a Ten so when you get raised twice it's quite apparent you're behind. The question is, does the coldcaller hold a bigger Ten or a draw? Having a read on this guy and how he plays made hands and draws is very important. I would think if he held a strong-kicker Ten he'd have given more action than simply check-calling up to this point though. My analysis is that your non-spade Ten and Nine outs are clean and a turn call is therefore the best play seeing as you're getting 14:1 and closing the action.

I call here. Button could be on a draw: Early limper is certainly on a draw. You have at least 4 outs if you are behind, and I'm not convinced you are. I think it is certainly worth 1 more bb, sine you are closing the action.

Call.

must call the turn prob river also, your turn bet looks weak. He may be playing for a free showdown with a small pair or AQ suited. a must call

Have to call the turn. Can reevaluate the river.
BTW, do you ever play against some guy and he raises you and you call, look at the hand history and he has absolute air? This is why they do it. I want to get to a showdown here, heads up. If that involves check calling non scare cards so be it. I am not interested in making big laydowns.

I agree. When the action closes to you with 5 people preflop, raise it up again to give that 10 9s a big pot to play for.
