Okay, guys. Mat is back and better than ever (I hope).

He has made me the moderator of the PLO forum, too.

So the question remains about the posts that are PLO8 oriented. I have asked him what he wishes to do about it, and told him what the majority wants (via the poll results). We'll wait to see how he handles it.

I am pretty much on the fence with this one, I don't care one way or another. I will just go with what is decided.

Poll results be damned! I don't feel there's enough traffic to the Omaha/8 forum to warrent splitting. And, I think we all benefit from Limit and Pot Limit O/8 cross-pollination.

I got the impression from the responses that most of the regular postsers were either indifferent or against splitting. Where is this silent majority coming from? I suspect conspiracy! [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

I've said this previously, but I think posting guidlines can take care of any issues some may have with "weeding" through unwanted posts.

I don't have strong feelings, but think on balance PLO8 is closer to O8 than PLO (think starting hands and split pot considerations trump betting amounts and fold equity considerations) so think it should stay here.

i'd prefer it stay in 1 forum for both traffic and cross-pollination reasons.
