I'm taking a shot at 10/20 6max

I would love to make this my main game, but I don't quite have the roll to feel comfortable. So, I decided to take a 25BB shot. Results thus far: [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Uhh... black jack is -EV. Didn't you know that? 10/20 6max on the other hand is majorly +EV, as can be observed in the chart above.

Wish I could hit a rush like this. I'm -2BB/100 or so for the first 8k hands at 10/20. I keep winning at 5/10, then losing it on shots at 10/20.

Frustrating, don't know why I can't beat it. Most of the players are the same. Literally, I recognize the names or have notes on many of the regular fish that play both 5/10 and 10/20.

It happens. I was doing very well at 5/10 and took a shot at 10/20. I dropped $1500 within the first 700 hands, but since I knew the opponents were weak and I could beat the game I stuck with it. Luckily I was rolled for 10/20, and shortly thereafter I had a nice upswing and got myself back to even and beyond.

I think if you are sure you can beat the game, keep playing it as long as your bankroll can support it. Because with good table selection, 10/20 is no more difficult than 5/10.

Blackjack is +EV at party isnt it? I thought they used 8 decks? More decks = more chances to make blackjack and get paid 3:2.
