Slowplay two pairs

"Why slowplay AK on an AKx board?"

Well, I primary play NL Holdem. I find if I check my AK with AKx board, someone who has an A or K will bet. He/she will continue to bet all the way after the river, he may think he has the best hand and I am on a draw.

Even for people who do not have an A or K, he may try to bluff me because I showed "weakness".

Even my opponent does not bet after the flop. He may call my bet after the turn or river and thinking I maybe bluffing.

In NL hodelm, you can win a lot chips when you slowplay/trap people right.

I am not a lucky guy, I don't get many good hands with good flops. So when I do, I want to make most from them.

The reason I post this slowplay question is that recently I was outdraw several times when I slowplay two pairs. Worse when I got outdraw I lost a LOT since they are NL Holdem games and I cannot fold my two pairs when I face a big bet.

If odds are my side and they are just bad beats I will continue to play the way it is.

If slowplay two pairs is a bad play, I will stop doing it.
