reads: both villains are big fishes. and slight aggressive postflop

standard not-even-close fold, especially after the overcall. i would fold this even without the overcall, actually

I wouldnt overcall in this case, but considering your reads. I would call if UTG didnt.

I feel great folding to two callers, but if it was one unknown, I'd make the call.

I don't think MP3 checks behind the turn with a K or better, and prob not a Q either, so I'm thinking we are ahead of him most of the time, and ahead of a LP-UTG player who could easily have a small-midPPl, 4 or 2 a fair bit of the time, since he would likely lead a Q, or K here.

These are good points that are often overlooked in the heat of the action.

We usually need a good hand to overcall on the river, but this is less true when the caller's range is so wide as it is here. I think utg could be calling with something as weak as AT.


I agree that the betting sequence makes it unlikely for the bettor and the caller (to a certain extent) to have us beat.

The pot odds of about 7-1 seem to justify a call in this case.

Its much much closer then you think. Player reads could turn this into a call.

But I fold.
