Hey Po,

Why not reraise PF?

Curious, B

I thought about this too. But, then again, if he reraises, he clearly states his hand as KK or AA, imo. By just calling, he disguises it better, no?

Good point, if you just call in this situation, the flop comes 2 5 8, someone with QQ might think they are best. Hmmm.... Plus, I guess that 3-betting PF in NL really gives your hand away.

How about this situation - you raise PF with KK in LP to let's say 6xBB and one person calls. The flop comes down uncoordinated but A-high, is it generally a check/fold or block/fold situation from then on (assuming no real reads and at SSNL)? Maybe that just hits a dead horse but that's one area of my game that's bad....

Thanks, B

I take LP to mean the CO or button, so I can't see how check/fold is an option unless I'm CO and button called me. In that situation I'm leading and probably folding to a raise though. If I'm in LP and a player from EP leads into me I'm raising almost always, if he checks I'm betting. There are of course alot of variables that would change my answers but this would be my default against unknowns.
