Because it's a blind battle and you don't give him credit for a hand?

It's tough though, to see what a xorbie won't raise or fold with preflop that beats you and will fold to a raise on this board or is drawing live and needs to be charged (or folded out). 22 falls into the latter, A5 in the first. But that's about it as far as I can see. Maybe he'll fold two pair, but it's going to be tough (given the possibility that you're an idiot with an overpair or is semibluffing some one-card straight draw or a flush draw).

So, I'm for OP calling the turn. And I'm definitly for xorbie reraising the flop.

1. You have a pretty good hand, that might be the best hand, and you want money in the pot.
2. If you do have the worse hand it might cause your opponent to fold a better hand.
3. You wouldn't mind a free showdown if your draw doesn't come.
