Please explain why this post-flop situation is exactly 50.000%/50.000%

something bout the three queens, on the straight draw hand two wins, qk is likely to call with two pair ?

It's quite simple really. If you deal out every possible combination of boards using the remaining cards in the deck, exactly 495 times out of 990, that board will produce a winner for the J8, and the other half, the KQ will win. That's why.

13 and 14 out draws are about 50-50. This is a 14 out draw, 8 outs to the straight and 6 overcard outs, but the overcards give J8 5 redraw outs. That gives J8 30+(45-14)C2=495 ways to win out of 45C2=990.
