Default KK on a painted flop NL25

Villian is loose neutral and min-raises are standard for him. I pretty much hate how I played this, but couldn't be sure where I was. Push on flop? check/call river? ugh...

EDITED TO ADD: It's frustrating because I'm ahead of everything except AT (obviously) and I can totally see him playing in this manner with QQ-JJ, two painted cards for two pair, and maybe AK...I feel he would have come back at me with AA preflop.

raise more pf - to 2.5 or 3ish

pot the flop - and push when 3betted.

as played, i'm glad you got your money in.

Whoa, that is some ugly flop play. Bet full pot. Push if raised.

Thanks guys, I find one of my biggest problems right now is not making large enough bets early in the hand (especially when I have a big hand and should want to play a big pot with it)...my mind still hasn't shifted out of limit mode I guess...but I'm getting there.

Peace,
J

Its the bets early in the hand even if they are "small" that makes the pot big fast enough (without have to overbet later) and gives away less information than small ("begging for a call") type of bets...

This hand plays itself really. 2$ preflop. pot the flop and push if he reraises. if he has A10 then your very unlucky, Im guessin he is drawing and if he calls great

Yeah, right now (well...*up until now*) my standard continuation-type bet on the flop has automatically been half the pot whether I hit or not and without really thinking about flop texture and my opponent's range of hands. I need to start making these sort of adjustments and size my bets accordingly, of course, that's probably one of the most difficult things to learn properly.

EDIT: Fixed a typo

What's with the min-raise sissy fight on the flop? This ain't no sorority pillow fight

3-bet that puppy all-in. You are probably ahead and if not you have redraws.
