Default TT - weak tight?

Villian is loose-passive calling station. Villian called me down with a pair of 7's my first orbit at table, I had AK and unsuccesfully fired two shots trying to brush him off. Since that hand I wanted to get him bad but we hadn't been involved again until now. I know unimproved TT isn't a great hand to play a huge pot with but with my read should I have made it a little bigger? alot bigger? Give up on the turn?

FWIW, trying to get back at a donk is a pretty big hole in my game I think, makes me play bad, but anyways.

I'm assuming he doesnt have a premium hand here, so what's he most likely on, A9, 98, T9, unimproved(til the turn) QJ?

In position here I'd bet bigger on the turn around 6$ unless you feel that his paints hit and he'd actually check it to you. His river bet is funny, 98 or a jack?

Yeah me too but I guess it's just part of my vengeful nature .

I would personally limp TT here and play it for set value but raising is fair enough if you're LAG.

I don't mind the flop bet too too much. I'd make it at least $3 though. On the turn, if you're going to bet it, make it around $6 or so. You're basically pricing him in if he has a flush draw. River is fine.

I'm actually very TAG but I only play TT for set value when I'm facing a raise from a rock.
