Default Pocket Aces Play

I'm not really sure if I was making a smart or anti-value move here.

1-2 limit HE 10-handed on Party in a relatively tight table. Preflop: folded around to 8th position who raises, 9th position re-raises, I'm on the button with Aces and just call.

Again, I'm not saying it was the right move but my justification for this is (assuming the blinds don't cold-call 2.5 and 2 more bets, which may be wrong): If the initial raiser caps, my hand is really well-concealed, and if he doesn't cap (which is what I expected), I plan to raise a bet that will surely come out on the flop before I act, or perhaps just call if I hit a set and raise the turn.

Thanks for reading. I'd sincerely appreciate the input.

People are dumb, I cap it out of habit because people are barely aware of their own crotch rash online, much less other people's holdings.

i cap here because i dont necessarily want the blinds to come along, and if they do, i want them to pay to outdraw me.

the two raisers are obviously going to call the cap. so youre going 4 BBs right there. any bonus blinds that coldcall three bets (hehe) is just that -- a bonus.

but, you know, aces arent invulnerable. let 4 other people in the pot and you may not even win the majority of the time here. you may as well charge them as much as you can to outdraw you, while you know you have the best hand, and then just evaluate the flop as it comes. again, getting 4 BBs preflop with your aces is a lot more action then you often end up with, so dont get greedy.
