Party adds $200 NL Sit & Go

This is good....now if only they made it 15 or 20 hands per level (or 1500 starting chips instead of 800), plus adding a badly needed ante structure at the higher levels to reward first-in aggression...

Now if we could convince them to add some higher buy-in PL sit-n-go tables we would be set.

I would be very appreciative if anyone who plays in these games could report on their difficulty. I will watch as well. I play the 50 and the 100 games and am still trying to sort out how much harder the 100 games are. I think much depends on luck and knowing your opponents.

The Party $200 NL tables are MUCH softer than my usual $300 NL stars sit n' gos....but because the limits shoot up so fast, and there's no ante structure, much of that skill gap is negated.

I also suspect that a bit of my +EV at party is sacrificed by that fact that Party is a far more attractive place for collusion teams to set up shop. Party has a giant mass of players to hide between, and a barely existent (and barely cognizant) support crew.

Frozen I wonder if you think collusion is rampant at Party at the $100 level as well. Maybe it is another thing I need to worry about when switching levels.

Very hard to tell. I don't think there is much ACTIVE collusion at all (active=pot bumping+ chip dumping), but who knows how much passive collusion (passive= card info sharing + softplaying each other) is going on...That's much tougher to detect.

Anybody else have thoughts on this?

The only comment I would add, is that chip dumping in a sit 'n' go has a negative EV for the team.

Well Lori, I think that depends. Let's say Cheater A has only 150 chips and Cheater B has 2000. A chip dump to double Cheater A to 300 chips would boost their collective EV, wouldn't it?

As is getting more common these days I wasn't being specific enough, sorry.

Just the case where PokerAdvantage and Pokerscene decide to both go all in first hand to double one of their stacks is the minus EV play.
