Re: How many barrels do you fire into a pot with missed AK?
[ QUOTE ]
I usually agree with 98% of your posts, but this one is off. There's no way they fold the percentage that you need. [/ QUOTE ] I understand what you are saying here. (and I'm flattered about the 98% ) I think that the +EV of this move includes the number of times I am behind, get flat called, improve on the turn, or take my free river and improve there. I see your point of firing a flop with two broadways being -EV for the immediate fold, but that bet can help you win the hand in other ways than an immediate fold. That, and I really like betting Good post on this subject btw. Regards, Woodguy |

[ QUOTE ] If you are betting with AQ here, you should bet with AK too. The initial continuation bet is still +EV, even against two opponenets. [/ QUOTE ] I usually agree with 98% of your posts, but this one is off. There's no way they fold the percentage that you need. Actually, I'm gonna go post a quick thread about this. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, my first thought was that I would not fire at this pot, atleast not in the lower buyin MTTs I play in. Good chance we get a free card if we check anyways. |

maybe if you're against a good or thinking player you can blow him of a had but this is the internet and most likely he's will to go to the felt with crap like Q3 so I also vote for save your money.
